Antique American rocking chair, late 19th century

A lovely condition late 19th Century (Victorian) American Rocking Chair with turned bobbin spindles. I understand the date to be around , and I believe the wood used is Walnut. I am not an antiques expert, therefore I have described the age and wood type to the best of my knowledge, but cannot make any guarantees! Most of these chairs seem to be described as Walnut, however I've seen one antique person saying it's mahogany - how you tell the difference is beyond my ability. It has its own particular rocking mechanism, it rocks on its own base with two coil springs to bring it back to the centre. The fabric is floral patterned and fixed by studs (none seem missing), I think this has been recovered some time in it's long history. The fabric doesn't appear to have any staining or damage at all. The woodwork seems great condition to me, the only really tiny fault I can find is a little piece under one of the arms which I'd say is not an issue, and I'm pretty thorough with these kind of checks! The chair is very comfortable and has a nice rocking motion. The seat and the seat back are gently contoured. Dimensions (really approx) are - 100cm high, 54cm width, 90cm depth, and seating area approx 43cm width. Collection would obviously be preferred as I don't normally ship furniture, and also this gives you a chance to examine the chair, but if you're unable to collect we may be able to arrange something. Late 19th / Early 20th century original antique painted Chinese cabinet

Exquisite, one-off, hand painted antique Chinese cabinet, in very good condition. Likely from 19th century - certainly not a modern imitation!
