Fender Stratocaster USA Sunburst inc hard case

This is a classic 79' Strat & is a lovely guitar & I'll be sad to see this go. The previous owner had at one time got a professional guitar technician to remove the original scratchplate & pickups as one piece & put in a new scratchplate & pickups with an active setup. To do this he made a space for the battery on back of the guitar as you can see in the picture (bottom left on back of guitar). He then had it put back as it was with all the original scratchplate & pickups to sell so all is back to its original state. So apart from that its all original & sounds great & makes no difference to the sound but is why Im selling it for this price so is a bargain really for anyone who knows what they are getting. USA Fender Stratocaster S1.. Excellent Condition c/w Whammy, Book & Hiscox Hard Case.

Here for sale my S1 Strat.. and only selling because I can't do this guitar any justice any more.. Arthritis has spoiled my fun sadly so it's Bass for me from now on. As you can see this guitar is in excellent condition.. just one little 'ding' on the back of the front strap position. There are two Noiseless Pickups which are just superb.. but for me the most impressive feature of this guitar is the 'ball bearing' headstock bridge which allows extremely low action ! The S1 switch is incorporated within the Volume Knob.. a simple push on the centre of the knob changes the tone which can be preset. There is also a Button located between the Tone Knobs.. pressing this directs the electronics directly to the Bridge Pickup for instant Lead Mode.. very handy ! The guitar is fitted with Fender/Schaller Locking Keys.. no string 'slippage' with these !:).. A Hiscox hard case is included.. but I guess its not the case that matters.. it's what in it eh.. and this really is a special bit of kit !! Right.. so.. what do I want for this guitar ?.. I think £ is reasonable considering the guitar itself, the features on it and the excellent condition. Fender USA Stratocaster th Anniversary Edition; Candy-Apple Red with Tweed Hard Case

This is in absolutely stunning condition for a 20-year-old guitar; it has been treated with love and respect and has never been gigged. Do take careful note of the following cosmetic blemishes, however: There is some slight zip rash from a soft carry-case on the bottom edge. On the REAR of the headstock there is a slight chip to the lacquer (not the wood) which has been re-lacquered but is still visible. On the REAR of the headstock there is a small concavity where the wood had slightly chipped; this has been filled with glass resin and varnished but is still visible. On the rear bout, there is a very faint patch of dark colouration under the lacquer; this has been there since new. The guitar is fully set up with new strings and is ready to play. The case is an absolutely brand new tweed affair with plush crimson lining, triple-clasps and keys. It is a Gear4Music make but has been debadged! This is your best chance of getting a USA-made Strat this side of a thousand pounds. The serial number is N and you will see that this checks out as having been made in Corona, California in . It has a Fender Anniversary plaque on the rear of the headstock. I can post but costs will be high because of the weight and the insurance. I would consider delivering it to you (or meeting you) within a radius of 75 miles of TF1 and at a fuel cost of 25p per mile. Any questions, please ask; thanks for looking. For sale my Fender USA American Standard Stratocaster Rosewood fret board in Olympic white from with Official Fender Hard Case.Condition is excellent but for a couple of small dings on the bottom edge which I've attempted photograph. It still has cellophane on the scratch plate, small sticker over the hole for the tremolo and sticker/cellophane on the back of the guitar.
