Fender Telecaster Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe inc. Custom Fender Hard case Great sounding guitar with double humbuckers and a range of classic Fender tones. Beautiful three colour sunburst colouring. I have owned this guitar since new and it always been kept inside its custom hard-case in my personal music studio - hard-case will be included for free. The guitar was recently serviced by Vintage Guitar Boutique in Shoreditch. Guitar is equipped with strap locks. For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own. For sale is my beautiful Fender Telecaster Custom. It was made in the now none existent Fullerton factory in California in . This is an amazing example of a very rare colour way, and it really is eye catching. The guitar is all original parts excluding three replacement pickup mounting screws (not bad for a 40 year old guitar!) I've just had the guitar professionally set up by master luthier Eltham Jones in Bristol, UK, and it plays and sounds absolutely perfect. As an upgraded addition he's added plastic tubes to protect the bridge springs as they are very old and it aids the functionality and protects against ware. It's a very versatile guitar in terms of sound, and it carries a lot more power than Tele's of this generation, it's also very light for the time of manufacture. With the guitar comes a lockable but not original hardcase and a strap also. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I will consider shipping this guitar but this will have to be discussed. I will also be happy to meet half way in the UK.
