This Vintage Fender Twin Reverb guitar amp Serial number A has just been professionally serviced by Gee Electronics,Warrington,and is in very good working order. It has seen many gigs over its 40 plus years but has been rarely gigged in the last 15 years. I bought it new in , as you would expect it has a few superficial bumps, dents and scratches in the Tolex cover but it comes with the original Fender 12 inch speakers,it has a push/pull Master volume boost switch,voltage selection knob,plus groove tube valves, also has casters and tilt back legs for inclined positioning.Its listed output is 100 watts although I have rarely had the channel volume above 3 or 4! I bought this brand new in . It is 25 watts, and has reverb built in. It has always worked perfectly (still fantastic after 30 years), but I now have a hand wired boutique valve amp, so this doesn't get used anymore. Two inputs, one for lead guitar, and one for Rhythm guitar. Input volume, and master volume, so you can have clean, or overdrive at low practise volumes. When both volumes are turned up, this is loud enough for band rehearsals and small gigs. Also has reverb pedal. Pre-amp in / out, for connecting effects pedals into the loop, and a headphones socket for quiet late night practise. Up for sale is my rather lovely UK spec Fender Pro Reverb amp. It's in perfect working order, includes the original (i believe) reverb/vibrato footswitch and really sounds fantastic. One thing that stands out about this particular amp is that it appears to have the AA165 circuit which was used in the earlier blackface versions (see final picture) - being a amp this is one of the first of the silverface Pro Reverbs so I can only assume that they had some of the AA165 chassis left over and decided not to waste them! Laney Pro Linebacker Amplifier PL100 Reverb head and Laney 4x12 angled cab. Sounds really good just with the built in amp effects. It got a real tasty high gain and reverb) Of course you would be most welcome to try it out for yourself (at a reasonable volume level...I like my neighbours!! hehehe) Plenty of power with this 100 watt set up enough for any aspiring rock star or someone who does not like their neighbours!;-) Its got a few little scuffs to the exterior as you'd expect for a big heavy chunk of gear. But considering its age I'd say its in pretty great condition. (probably down to the fact its not been used in so long) Its £225 for the head and cab. I may be prepared to split but would want £150 for either part on its own as I'd rather sell as a set. No offers or trades. Cash on collection only. I will not ship this item.
