Plays fantastic, has been recently set up by nige in Richmond Has had upgraded pickups, hand wound in the USA by James from re-wind pickups, re-wind. Net heres what he had to say about them: Email from James about the pick ups: The pickups are flat pole magnets, A4 if I remember right. The pickups are wound a bit hotter than a typical vintage Mustang pickup, with a bit extra on the bridge. Red poly wire to keep things crisp sounding. They were a custom build. Here are some photos of the ones I made. (Last two photos are the pickups) a couple of chips on the back (unnoticeable from the front) and acouple of tiny digs here and there but nothing noticeable when playing It does have the tone and vol knobs with it unlike in the picture. Fender FSR Competition Stripe Mustang OCR w/Matching Headstock, inc Harcase

Unfortunately I'm looking for a new home for my Japanese Mustang. Looks absolutely gorgeous in Old Candy Red, with a matching headstock and the iconic competition stripe. I spent ages looking for this one, and I'm sad to let it go. It's a lovely guitar, I just don't play it enough and have too many similar guitars, and I have my eye on something else. It's in great condition, a few light scuffs on the lacquer, those usual light marks you can only see in certain light, and a tiny chip next to the control plate. But there's absolutely minimal fretwear, no serious damage anywhere, and it plays beautifully. Unfortunately I don't have the vibrato arm for it, but it'll come with a fresh set of strings and an old Kinsman hardcase that's seen better days but does the job - it'll certainly keep it safe during transit. Located up in Aberdeen but willing to post to UK, UPS insured which usually runs to about £40. Any questions or photos wanted, just send me a message. Fantastic crafted in Japan Jaguar from '06, the better built guitars from Japan. This one has a few upgrades, -Dimarzio humbuckers -Gibson wiring, the Controls on the top horn are for the neck pickup and the two knobs on the bottom are for the bridge pick up. -three way knob for pickup choice. - have had the bottom control plate removed and bought a custom pickguard to fit. This was reliced to look like the kurt cobain signature jag by the previous owner, this doesn't affect the playability of this guitar as its been professionally set up and plays/sounds amazing! I am selling my Fender Stratocaster Crafted in Japan. The colour is arctic white as far as I can tell. It has a rosewood fret-board which is freshly oiled in the photographs and slightly less glossy now but still a sheen. I believe from the serial number (Q) that this is from the FujiGen factory and made between and . There is very little fret wear and a good set up - according to a better player than me this guitar played better than his.I do not use the whammy bar and the guitar is set up accordingly, but it will be included.
