Fender classic 50s Telecaster

Hi,just a run down telling you a bit about the guitar.The neck is maple with 21vintage frets and no real wear to speak of,vintage kluson style tuners to finish the neck off.The body is blonde in colour and you can see the ash body through the finish.The guitar comes with 2 vintage style pickups which have been wax potted to eliminate any unwanted squeal and feedback.The guitar comes from fender with good quality pots,switch and jack,all cavities and rear of pick guard have been screened for unwanted noise.The old jack socket was troublesome and has been replaced with an electro socket jack,all good now.The guitar is ten years old with one knock on the rear where the paint has come off a few minor marks on it but generally in very good condition.There is a hard cause in the sale to protect the guitar.Thanks Nick.Email for more photos. Gotoh 'In Tune' compensated brass saddles (can include the original Fender steel saddles), Electrosocket jack cup and Schaller straplocks have been added. One notable chip on the top rear of the body with minor dinks elsewhere. Has the typical Fender finish crack where the neck meets the body but this is common and in no way structural. Guitar is in fairly used condition and was recently set up with 11s. A lot of lacquer checking especially on the headstock and some parts of the fretboard but nothing more than signs of use and love. Few dings as pictured. New retail price is 661. Based on the very first Fender solid body guitar design, the Esquire, the Fender Telecaster was the first big success for Leo Fender. Japanese Tele serial on pickup plate A. It's ' excellent quality as expected from Fender Japan. It has a few very minor blemishes but nothing at all to affect playing. I think it's a beauty and in fantastic condition for its age. Just had full setup by Remade Guitars in Abingdon. The price is £600 and no case. No offers, trades or swaps. I will not post. Fender Japan 50's Telecaster

Fender Crafted In Japan 50's telecaster in butterscotch blonde. This is a superb example manufactured in . It weighs 7lbs on my bathroom scales, which some believe is the perfect weight for a Tele and it rings nicely when strummed acoustically. There are one or two very minor dents in the paint, which are only visible with close inspection. The body appears to be two piece. It has all the correct early 50's fittings, including single ply pick guard and slotted screws. It sounds great. This is probably as good an example of these excellent guitars that you will find and it even comes with a newish Kingsman tweed case. I'm selling as I have collected too many 'comfort' toys over the years and I need to fund other things in my retirement. It may seem a little on the pricy side to some but this is a premium example.
