Reluctantly getting shot of this terrific all-tube amp due to really not using it to its full capacity. If you know about these amps, you know how good they are. If you don't, come and find out why they are the standard amp for the gigging guitarist. The original Hot Rod Deluxe was good, but the upgrades - easy-view black control panel with front-reading text, graduated volume and treble pot tapers, tighter overdrive and a Celestion G12P-80 speaker - made it even better. OK for use at home practising at lower volume (though my neighbours now hate me), it really comes into its own when you crank it up. And my God, it's loud. So much so I have to downsize or face a noise abatement order. It's in great condition and I wouldn't be selling it if I was gigging, but I'm not. The included dust cover isn't pristine, but it does its job. This is the Hot Rod III reissue made in Mexico. Very rare Hot Rod in vintaged Tweed. Looks stunning and sounds stunning. Great clean headroom with two gain stages giving crunch/blues and a rockier gain on top. Fender built in spring reverb. This is a do it all amp ready to gig with it's own fitted flight case. I have gigged this amp on a few occasions, but always flight cased, so it's pretty much as new, looks and sounds that way to. I am only parting with it because I have concluded I prefer Marshall tones and have acquired a great hand wired Marshall. Don't make silly offers I'll keep it rather than give it away, the flight case alone is worth £180. Pick up the only option really it would travel in the flight case fine, but cost would be high.
