I am selling a 4 month old Fender Bassman 500W head with a Fender Rumble Bass Cabinet 115. This is a fantastic lightweight and superb sounding amplifier for all genre and style of bassist. The amp head has 2 channels with a wide variety of tones available. The amp is a hybrid which uses both valve and solid state so this gives you a great variety of tone that will suit any style of music. The amp head retails at around £840 and the cabinet retails at around £360. I would like to sell both head and cabinet for £ ONO as I have only used this amp in my bedroom and at two gigs. The cabinet has an 8ohm resistance and brings the 500 watts down to around 350 watts but still kicks loud enough for most large venues. But this will never be a problem as you have an additional DI output to send a signal to the sound engineer etc. Pick Up or potential meet half way with fuel payment. (Yorkshire area) The items as you can see from the photos are in as new condition and comes with a Fender amp head cover and is also on wheels for easy movement. Fender Bassman Silverface 70W amplifier late 70s

Late 70s amp in good working order. This has been modified to also use EL34 valves. At the moment has two Sovtek tested with a Dyna Jet 606 tube tester. As you can see in the pics both valves have plenty of life. Clean tones as expected from a Fender but also drives provided the right push! Cosmetically good considering age, this amp also benefits from Master Volume knob to play at lower volumes with high gain. Believe me, this baby is loud! Fender Bassman drip edge Amplifier (black face / silver face)

This is a 67 fender bassman silverface head, but with the sort after 'drip edge' face and even rarer vertical black lines on the control panel. This means it is a blackface amp (electricals) in a silver face disguise! These amps were produced as Fender rolled out the new design of silver face amplifiers, however were still using the old black face electronics inside. More can be read about this topic with a simple google search. This one has a slight scuff to the fabric on the front - but I think this adds character to this awesome amps appearance! I have owned this head for 7 years however do not get much chance to use it to its full potential anymore - sounds great with a THD hotplate pushing it hard (not included in sale). I bought this as a back up to my Fender Rumble 500v3 and to be honest, there isn't much between them, in terms of volume. It's certainly got more than enough power through my 8 ohm Rumble 210 to hold it's own against any drummer. Perfect for pub/club gigs. Super light and portable. Comes complete with 'kettle lead' and padded carry case. It has, previous to my ownership, received a knock on the one end (see photo).
