I am selling a 4 month old ong>Fenderong> ong>ong>Bassmanong>ong> 500W head with a ong>Fenderong> Rumble Bass Cabinet 115. This is a fantastic lightweight and superb sounding ong>amplifierong> for all genre and style of bassist. ong>Theong> amp head has 2 channels with a wide variety of tones available. ong>Theong> amp is a hybrid which uses both valve and solid state so this gives you a great variety of tone that will suit any style of music. ong>Theong> amp head retails at around £840 and ong>theong> cabinet retails at around £360. I would like to sell both head and cabinet for £ ONO as I have only used this amp in my ong>beong>droom and at two gigs. ong>Theong> cabinet has an 8ohm resistance and brings ong>theong> 500 watts down to around 350 watts but still kicks loud enough for most large venues. Fender Bassman Silverface 70W amplifier late 70s

Late 70s amp in good working order. This has ong>beong>en modified to also use EL34 valves. At ong>theong> moment has two Sovtek tested with a Dyna Jet 606 tuong>beong> tester. As you can see in ong>theong> pics both valves have plenty of life. Clean tones as expected from a ong>Fenderong> but also drives provided ong>theong> right push! Cosmetically good considering age, this amp also ong>beong>nefits from Master Volume knob to play at lower volumes with high gain. ong>Beong>lieve me, this baong>byong> is loud! This is a 67 ong>fenderong> ong>ong>bassmanong>ong> silverface head, but with ong>theong> sort after 'drip edge' face and even rarer vertical black lines on ong>theong> control panel. This means it is a ong>blackfaceong> amp (electricals) in a silver face disguise! ong>Theong>se amps were produced as ong>Fenderong> rolled out ong>theong> new design of silver face ong>amplifierong>s, however were still using ong>theong> old black face electronics inside. More can ong>beong> ong>readong> about this topic with a simple google search. This one has a slight scuff to ong>theong> fabric on ong>theong> front - but I think this adds character to this awesome amps appearance! I have owned this head for 7 years however do not get much chance to use it to its full potential anymore - sounds great with a THD hotplate pushing it hard (not included in sale).
