Fender 'American Special' P-bass () - Candy apple red - Made in USA. - Serial number: US - American alder body - Maple neck with 'C' Shape profile This American made Fender Precision bass was newly purchased in January . Initially it was used for practicing at home until I joined a band. Since then it has been used at 6 live gigs and on the recording of a full length rock album. No structural or electrical/hardware issues whatsoever. Some light play wear only on scratch plate and on the reverse of body. The intonation is spot on and the strings stay in tune from one week to the next... the mark of a quality instrument! The 'C' shape neck profile is just wonderful and so comfortable to play. Sound wise this is just what you would expect from a genuine Fender P-bass. The split coil pickup produces the satisfying Fender bottom end as heard on so many classic recordings. I purchased this P-bass for £825 in January and have decided to list it at the same price of a new Mexican made Standard Fender bass (although I welcome sensible offers). I've owned Mexican Fenders and while very decent these American Specials are a cut above as you would expect. Price includes Fender strap and hard case in used condition plus original owners booklet. Fender Jaguar Classic Player Special - Candy Apple Red

A rather lovely Fender Jaguar Classic Player Special in Candy Apple Red. Has a rosewood fretboard rather than the Pau Ferro the current ones do. Has had barely any use - when I bought it a month ago the plastic was still on the pickguard! Note there is a scratch/ding in the top of the body which isn't particularly noticeable (can send photos on request). Other than that, it's in excellent condition. Fender USA Stratocaster th Anniversary Edition; Candy-Apple Red with Tweed Hard Case

This is in absolutely stunning condition for a 20-year-old guitar; it has been treated with love and respect and has never been gigged. Do take careful note of the following cosmetic blemishes, however: There is some slight zip rash from a soft carry-case on the bottom edge. On the REAR of the headstock there is a slight chip to the lacquer (not the wood) which has been re-lacquered but is still visible. On the REAR of the headstock there is a small concavity where the wood had slightly chipped; this has been filled with glass resin and varnished but is still visible. On the rear bout, there is a very faint patch of dark colouration under the lacquer; this has been there since new. The guitar is fully set up with new strings and is ready to play. The case is an absolutely brand new tweed affair with plush crimson lining, triple-clasps and keys. It is a Gear4Music make but has been debadged! This is your best chance of getting a USA-made Strat this side of a thousand pounds. The serial number is N and you will see that this checks out as having been made in Corona, California in . It has a Fender Anniversary plaque on the rear of the headstock. I can post but costs will be high because of the weight and the insurance. Reluctant but I have 3 P/J's and this is the most valuable, and probably most saleable as they don't come up often. Black is the least common colour, Maple is the least common board. These Hot Rods were only made for 11 months from July before becoming the Hot Rodded, which ran for about 2 years. Lots of info on the balanced pick ups on BC & TB. Graphite rods, 41.6mm nut, 8lb 13oz, not original case, but expensive (and quite scuffed) Fender case included. A myriad of tiny surface scuffs on the back, that won't photograph, but for an 18 year old bass it's in good condition It's almost impossible for me to courier now, unless YOU want to sort out a Saturday collection. I would happily look at a trade for an American Jazz Deluxe dated to . I have £100 to add to the Hot Rod, to go to such a Jazz. Please remember the Deluxe Jazzes of that time were selling new for between £ so really shouldn't be considered the same value as the current Elite series! For sale is a stunning Fender American Deluxe P Bass with TSA-rated Fender flight case. This bass features an upgraded Hipshot A-Style brass bridge ($100+) and Hipshot HB6C tuning machines ($75), plus the costs of professional installation! Additional Fender Deluxe features include a graphite-reinforced neck, select alder body and the Deluxe series' famous contoured neck heel and chromed Fender headstock logo. It's in great, well-played condition, with only cosmetic wear. There are numerous smaller dings, dents, and scratches throughout the body and fingerboard/neck (many, but not all are pictured), including pick marks and buckle rash (didn't show up well in photos). The fingerboard clear has worn to a satin finish and has a few dents, but the frets are in fantastic shape with only very light dimpling. The rear upper-horn has plenty of scuffs/scratches that I couldn't properly photograph. I'm still pining for a Flea, a Road Worn Jazz or a Road Worn Dirnt. I have the following, plus up to £100 for the right bass. Entry level AMERICAN Precision, , now discontinued, as are the Standard. Differences to US STANDARD. Standard pup rather than custom shop. Standard tuners rather than the fancy lightweight ones. Standard bridge rather than high mass through body. No hard case. Light at 8lb 2oz. These have the Greasebucket tone circuit which has made irregular appearances since the late 80's. Very good condition.
