Due to this instrument's length, it may be unavailable to ship internationally.  Fender American Deluxe Precision P Bass w/Upgraded Hipshot Brass Bridge, Tuners & TSA Flight Case! For sale is a stunning Fender American Deluxe P Bass with TSA-rated Fender flight case. This bass features an upgraded Hipshot A-Style brass bridge ($100+) and Hipshot HB6C tuning machines ($75), plus the costs of professional installation! Additional Fender Deluxe features include a graphite-reinforced neck, select alder body and the Deluxe series' famous contoured neck heel and chromed Fender headstock logo. It's in great, well-played condition, with only cosmetic wear. There are numerous smaller dings, dents, and scratches throughout the body and fingerboard/neck (many, but not all are pictured), including pick marks and buckle rash (didn't show up well in photos). The fingerboard clear has worn to a satin finish and has a few dents, but the frets are in fantastic shape with only very light dimpling. The rear upper-horn has plenty of scuffs/scratches that I couldn't properly photograph. It's an absolutely flawlessly playing masterpiece of American craftsmanship and ships in a TSA-approved flight case with original key (plastic cracked off/dented on the upper-left).      Shipping Shipping will be calculated depending on your location via USPS Priority Mail.  There is a handling fee of $ (US) or $ (out of the country), which is already included in the shipping estimate. Fender 'American Special' P-bass () - Candy apple red - Made in USA. - Serial number: US - American alder body - Maple neck with 'C' Shape profile This American made Fender Precision bass was newly purchased in January . Initially it was used for practicing at home until I joined a band. Since then it has been used at 6 live gigs and on the recording of a full length rock album. No structural or electrical/hardware issues whatsoever. Some light play wear only on scratch plate and on the reverse of body. The intonation is spot on and the strings stay in tune from one week to the next... the mark of a quality instrument! The 'C' shape neck profile is just wonderful and so comfortable to play. Sound wise this is just what you would expect from a genuine Fender P-bass. The split coil pickup produces the satisfying Fender bottom end as heard on so many classic recordings. I purchased this P-bass for £825 in January and have decided to list it at the same price of a new Mexican made Standard Fender bass (although I welcome sensible offers). I've owned Mexican Fenders and while very decent these American Specials are a cut above as you would expect. Price includes Fender strap and hard case in used condition plus original owners booklet. A late '90s Squier P-bass Special. This features a standard split coil Precision Bass neck pickup and an extra Jazz bass bridge pickup. Plays nicely. Nice low action and a straight neck. It's been retrofitted with a genuine Fender neck pickup cover. This can easily be removed if needs be. Please note, there a tiny black mark on the back of the body. This is a production error. Reluctant but I have 3 P/J's and this is the most valuable, and probably most saleable as they don't come up often. Black is the least common colour, Maple is the least common board. These Hot Rods were only made for 11 months from July before becoming the Hot Rodded, which ran for about 2 years. Lots of info on the balanced pick ups on BC & TB. Graphite rods, 41.6mm nut, 8lb 13oz, not original case, but expensive (and quite scuffed) Fender case included. A myriad of tiny surface scuffs on the back, that won't photograph, but for an 18 year old bass it's in good condition It's almost impossible for me to courier now, unless YOU want to sort out a Saturday collection. I would happily look at a trade for an American Jazz Deluxe dated to . I have £100 to add to the Hot Rod, to go to such a Jazz. Please remember the Deluxe Jazzes of that time were selling new for between £ so really shouldn't be considered the same value as the current Elite series! It is compatible with any electronic hardware and/or necks from all Fender or Squier Jazz basses that have been made in any of Fender's plants worldwide. There are a few light scratches and rub marks but no dents or dings so it could be finished in any colour you like, including natural wood. More importantly, it has through-body stringing so would allow you to convert your Mexican Fender or Squier Jazz Bass to that specification.
