This is Sybil. Between 18 month and 2 years (breeder was not specific). She is a pygmy goat bought as a companion for our first dairy goat but now that our herd is growing we sadly can't keep her as pygmies are not suitable as dairy goats. She is quite nervous at first but when she is used to you, she happily eats from your hand and if you don't rush her, will enjoy a tickle under the chin. Her coat is in lovely condition, hooves have just been trimmed, checked for worms, treated for lice (another goat had lice so we treated them all). Given her excellent condition, she could be good for breeding. Previous owner told us she was half Nigerian Dwarf but she looks very pygmy to me, so this may or may not be the case. Here’s Cherry our lovely B&W pygmy goat born Friday 7th as a twin to Quince (See Quince’s add). She’s a stunner. She will be ready to leave for her forever home at 12weeks old on June 30th.. We have a hornless herd, so we usually sell our kids as disbudded as we find them safer to have around children. If she’s going to a horned herd she can remain horned, however she can be disbudded if preferred. All our pygmy goats are handled at least twice a day so all our animals will be supper tame when going to their new homes. I Cherry must go to a home with other pygmy goats or go with her brother or another baby pygmy goat of ours You must have a Cph number to have animals.
