Aprox I backed this lil man through summer and hes been brilliant so happy to learn new things. Never bucked,reared or kicked. Hes been an absolute dream for us all and his youngest rider was a 6 year novice and he has never had any problems and gained so much confidence by rising osacr. Inca is a light weight, eight year old black cob, standing at 14.2hh. A friend rescued her and she came to us early in the year where we continued her education on the ground. Inca is riding beautifully in walk, trot and canter where she has proved easy and willing. Fantastic Competition or Pony Club Pony Trigger is a very handsome, full up 148cm (14.2hh) 11yo TB X NF. He has attended all PC activities, including camps. Show Jumping is where Trigger excels, he has competed up to 90cm and jumped 1m at home. He is always in the ribbons, placing 6th at Hickstead Sunshine Tour . He is fast against the clock and can turn on a sixpence. Triggers hacks out alone and in company and is good with heavy traffic (has seen tractors, double-decker buses and small trains). He can require reassurance, however with a calm, confident rider it goes no further than a look. Trigger's flatwork needs some work, however he can work in an outline and knows basic lateral work. He can find schooling taxing and can therefore can be a little hard work in the school. He is presently ridden in a hanging cheek snaffle. Trigger is good to handle from the ground and is good to catch, great with dentist, farrier, loading/travelling, vet. We found him a bit anxious to clip, and I do feel that this could be improved with time and patience, however at present he may need twitch/sedation. Trigger is shod in front only and had a new set of shoes this weekend. He is up to date with dentist, back, vaccinations and worming. Trigger requires a confident and experienced home as he can be forward and strong jumping (on the lead up to a fence, he comes back to you the other side) and does take confidence from his rider. Could happily be a mother daughter share. He has hacked out and led off another horse on the main B class road not fazed by the busy speeding traffic. Wonders up the woods happily weaving in and out of trees and going through the mud etc. Calm in open fields, will go at your pace, will also school in open spaces. Doesn't get strong. SNAFFLE MOUTHED at all times. I do believe he could also be a great hunting pony as he certainly has the right attitude for it. Has seen hounds and has stood with hunt meet, however has not been out with them for hours due to work commitments. A happy fun ride with a fantastic wanting to please temperament. I have owned Bobby for 6 amazing years, in which he has: - Competed in senior pony club games with Ryburn pony club where he even stayed over night at Wetherby - Been on farm rides at Somerford Park - Done unaffiliated showjumping (jumped a 70cm track this weekend with scope to go a lot further) - Been cross country schooling - Shown in hand at an agricultural show. Not only has he achieved all of this away from home but he also excelled at home! - He is well schooled on the flat (goes like a mini showjumper). - Hacks out alone or in company - Enjoys a good pamper although he's not too keen on having a cold bath (I don't blame him). - Amazing jumper, very scopey, bold and careful! He would easily affiliate, he's a perfect for stepping stones candidate for the right jockey. - He is fantastic to clip, catch, groom, load, with the farrier ect. Bobby has had his teeth done, is wormed up to date and has his feet trimmed every 6 weeks (never been shod as he has fantastic little feet). He has no vices, clean legs and has never been sick or sorry. This is a very sad, reluctant sale of a fantastic little pony, however due to having no regular little jockey for him it is time someone else gets the chance to have as much fun with him as I have. Not a first pony or a novice ride as can be forward going when jumping. Experienced homes only as he is my pride and joy and he will not be going to just anyone.
