11.1h Pony - Lead Rein or companion pony I'm looking for a lovely home for my children's 11.1h 15year old gelding. He's a really sweet chap who will give lots of cuddles and is always happy to see you. Both my children 9 and 4 have hacked out on him, had lessons on him and he's great to ride and lead with. In the field he's fantastic with other horses, but is also happy being on his own and amazingly he respects electric fencing. Ringo will happily come in for a snooze in a stable if allowed. He has really good feet and is generally a good dooer! Good with farrier, teeth, jabs etc. Although he is amazing he does have COPD hence price but he is absolutely fine, doesn't need medication and will be fine as a companion/ lead rein (Our vet is more than happy to back this up) Ringo loves a good cuddle and groom. It is with a heavy heart that we are having to look for a loving home for our beautiful boy. He is the most loving, safe and sweet boy. Perfect with the little ones, loves to be groomed and fussed. Since being with us he has been used for lead rein, first ridden and all round happy hacking pony. In his early days I am told he loved PC but now he is looking for a quiet life. this is my sweet little blue, his is older than most but please dont let that put you off as this little fella does not act it at all, he 23 years young, he does how ever have a little arthritis in his legs which is ok as long as he isnt left out over the winter, a little devils claw does the trick if he gets a little stiff, other wise a happy go lucky pony will come with rugs, he loads good with farrier in and out of stable, he is free to a 5* home which will be vetted, all i ask is a donation for the welsh horse and pony rehoming charity as he was a rescue him self, he is passported but not chipped, ive put him as a mountain and moreland but passport says he is an spot, not sure where they got that from but that is what it says, this is hard for me but i just can not keep him any more due to ill health, so if you could offer by boy a forever home please contact me please no time wasters

I've had a hard life, bred foals,worked in a riding school, and a trekking centre,.I've recently had my feet done, I've had my teeth done, which is great as I can eat my hay!! I've been wormed,I'm still a bit underweight but getting there, I've had very sore legs in the Past(so I can be bit sensitive about Them) but these have been treated and they are better now so my lovely feather is growing back too, I can be ridden but I prefer to just plod out at my own pace, I don't buck or rear dont spook, I don't mind traffic I don't get excited in big open fields either, im sure I would be perfect for the right person.
