I have a male moggie cat who was my first, and he hasn’t taken to her and is not himself. He hides all day from her! It is with a very heavy heart that I am having to rehome my sphynx boy:(He is 5 years old and I have had him for 3 years. He is literally the most loving cat that you could ever wish for. Whenever you sit down, he is straight on your lap. He loves nothing more than to sit on you and purrs so loudly. He has been bought up with kids, a dog and other cats. He was completely litter-trained and clean, but 9 months ago we took in a stray cat. Since then my Sphynx has started weeing around the house and fighting with the other cat. I have left it as long as I could hoping it will get better but it hasn't and I am concerned that my Sphynx must be really stressed out and unhappy if he keeps fighting and weeing everywhere. He never did this before so I think he will be fine in another household maybe with fewer cats. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Kept as an indoor cat only. I am devastated at having to rehome him so really only want him to go to the very best home, ideally with someone with a knowledge of the breed. I am trying to find a very special home for Roland. He is nearly 3 years old and got to a very bad start in life which has left him with a cloudy eye. He is now 100% healthy and looking to get a new family that have no other cats or dogs unless perhaps another Sphynx. The reason I have to rehome him is that he is a very greedy cat! Now he is healthy he eats anything and everything that he can, so I have to be very strict with his feeding regime. My other cat and dog are not young and tend to graze with their food which Roland tries to grab and eat. This is making him have a constant upset tummy. I have been to the vet and there is absolutely nothing wrong with him. Its purely down to over eating. I have tried keeping them all separate at meal times but Roland really is a champion at speed eating and this is causing a problem. My old dog is getting cross and now spends most of his time guarding his food and this is not nice to see. Roland is a perfect companion and loves to be cuddled. He is good in the bath and doesn't mind his ears being cleaned or his nails being clipped. He loves a sunny window to sit in and although he is an indoor cat, I have found him on a sun lounger in the garden before! Roland is a real character and will make his new family very happy as long as he is the only cat in the house. I would prefer him to go to a home that has got previous experience with this breed as they really are quite unique. Roland is neutered and up to date with inoculations.
