UPDATE, BOAT NOW SOLD! ENGINE STILL AVAILIBLE Hi, Engine is a johnston 8.0 hp longshaft. Was running fine but now it cuts out at low revs, seems to run ok at high revs. Still pumps water, just cuts out.. Was trying to start it yesterday but the pull cord has come off the reel. Tohatsu Long Shaft 8hp 2 stroke for sale. Super quiet and smooth running. Possibly one of the last 2 strokes made and one of the best for its size/weight/reliability. Forward/neutral/reverse, tiller control, Pull start. Amazing condition and easy to start. Flushed and cleaned whenever used. I sold the little rib that this was used on 2 years ago, but loved the engine so much I put it in the shed hoping I'd find a use for it one day. That day has not arrived.
