A great tube amplifier which has been recently serviced. HotRox tubes installed. Some nicks in the tolex, otherwise in great condition. Comes with a Z4 footswitch which switches between channels and also boosts each channel. It is LOUD with 50 watts of Tube power and I've always had plenty in reserve at any gig I've ever played. Heavy duty flight case on wheels by Castle Cases which cost £180 when originally purchased. The only reason I'm selling is that I've bought a smaller, lighter amp. I first came across the Classic series after looking up Simon Neil's (of Biffy Clyro) guitar rig. Anyone who has seen them live will be aware of how great his guitar sounds. He uses a Classic 30 and a Delta Blues in his rig I believe! Anyway, I cannot keep them all, although they will eventually be put to use in the studio if I cant shift them. Laney 15 Watt all valve Guitar Amp for Sale. Footswitch included (the amp doesn't come with one new). This amp sounds fantastic, 2 channels (clean and driven). The amp is based loosely on a Vox AC15 sound, think classic British tone. The bright switch also allows you to get some nice sparkly cleans. The driven sound can get quite distorted (say ACDC level) and even get into fairly high gain territory with an overdrive pedal. I bought this amp to use at home and in the studio as it's a little smaller with a lower power outage. Perfect for home use and good tone without complaints from neighbours I've also used it for rehearsals and even the odd gig with a mic in front of it. Peavey Classic 30 Guitar Combo Amplifier

For sale is my Peavey Classic 30. I've not had it long, but it just isn't what I was looking for so it sadly has to move on to make way for other things. This amp is in full working order, just with some minor points noted below: Aside from the obvious cosmetic damage around the bottom of the wrapping, and the tarnished control panel, it's worth noting that the power lead has been replaced on this with a much higher grade of rubber cable and durable 13A plug rather than the old, degrading cable that was supplied. This cable is held in place by a "P" clip just inside the chassis, as it doesn't fit in the original cable gland. The previous owner also had the power transformer recently replaced. This is a great blues amp, the clean channel is gorgeous and the OD channel can do some fantastic crunchy tones, it just isn't for me.
