BEAUTIFUL “VINTAGE HEART” SOLID OAK Ee-zi-Way EXTENDABLE RELOVED DINING/DISPLAY TABLE I absolutely love this piece! Circa this antique oval Oak table with elegant Cabriole legs and Pad feet has had a full refurbishment. This has been completely stripped of nearly 100 years of woodstain and varnishes, it has been triple sealed, primed and painted in a palest grey colour hand mixed to match paper. The table edge has been painted in a dark grey glaze to give the vintage look. All painted woodwork finished with high quality satin varnish. Table centre piece and surround has been papered in Vintage Heart paper and sealed 15 times for an ultra durable & washable finish. The table extends with a pulley handle and gears which have been refurbished and oiled for smooth operation. Seats 4 – 8 comfortably. I have a dark oak sideboard for sale. The item is made from solid oak. The unit is solid and all the doors and draws work perfectly, however the top surface will need a little bit of restoration. I’m not sure exactly how old the item is but it can be viewed by arrangement. The measurements are 19 ½ inches deep, 29 inches high and 59 inches long. A rare and unusual piece. This solid oak refectory style table has been in my family for years and stored for the last 20. Downsizing now forces sale. It's idea for an antique restoration project. Due to exact metric dimensions and unusual leg design I believe that it may not be English. It's in need of some skilled work to restore it to its full glory. The legs have had brackets fitted to repair cracks in the wood, but when assembled all parts fit securely together. The top is a single piece of oak, 5 cms (2") thick and very heavy.
