Handsome 16hh Grey TB Gelding 12 yrs old!

This Chap will be a star in the right, confident and experienced hands!!!!! He is beautiful to look at and has so much to give but sadly work commitments leave me with no time to do anything with him. Daniel raced in and after a short time he went on to do low level dressage. He is a super bright boy who absolutely loves to work. He is extremely bright, picks things up very fast and now NEEDS a job to do. He excels in flat work but has jumped a course of 2ft 6" fences with ease. Could be perfect for endurance also, I have ridden him 7-10 miles and he would happily carry on without even breaking a sweat! I did put him up for sale last year for a short period of time and then didn't have the heart to sell him, at that time I was asking £ including quality tack and rugs. He has now been out of work since Sept/Oct hence his price today. I have had to except that letting him go is the right thing for him as much as it breaks my heart. Home is absolutely the most important factor, he is not a novice ride and needs someone with lots of experience, time, energy and most of all confidence. Unfortunately I am losing confidence the older I get and the more he isn't worked and therefore I am doing him no good either. He is the type that needs consistency and regular work. He does school but this is not his favourite. He enjoys pole work and popping over some fences. He is a typical cob and can be stubborn, he needs a strong rider for this reason. Stunning yrs Gelding

Unfortunately for sale due to university commitments. Humbug is my yrs ISH. I have had humbug for the past 2 years in which we have competed in showjumping upto 1m and xc upto 85cm however he happily schools over much bigger at home this is due to me being a wuss. We have done fun rides an hunts which he jumped everything asked despite finding it all very exciting. Humbug is not a novice ride and finds new people worrying so I am looking for a kind and sensitive home that's willing to take the time to let him get to know you and form a bond. Once he knows your his human he will do anything asked. He is good to school but does take 15 minutes to settle and use his backside properly but is balanced and collected. He is very sensitive to the leg and can be sharp but this has greatly improved and once he's used to where your legs are he's fine. He has a nice jump and we have competed upto 1m but school bigger at home. He does find jumping exciting and can get strong but through grids this is always improving. He hacks first or last alone and in company. Can get a bit joggy but would never buck rear or bolt. He is good on the roads with buses motorbikes etc. Turns out with mares or geldings. No horse is perfect so his only fault is he hates being clipped. With sedation he's better. He finds it very ticklish being clipped behind the shoulder so I just take his neck off and he's fine. He is great to travel and he loads himself. He follows me around the yard and know his place. He can pull faces but this is a front is to disguise how much he loves you and would never bite. He does need to be kept in frequent work to bring the best out of him. He was fully vetted 4 years ago and passed with flying colours but i am open to vetting.
