15'2 Gelding for sale

15'2" Gelding, done a bit of everything, lovely paces, great with farrier, easy to handle, very much a people horse. We have owned him for 2.5 years, during which time he has done very little. The main reason for this lack of time from our part, and that he is not keen on large vehicles due to being loaned to a nervous rider prior to our ownership. We have not had the time to ride him regularly enough to overcome this issue, but I feel that someone with time and ability can easily work through this issue with him. Regrettably selling my boy as work is taking over and not fair on him. 15.2 standardbred gelding for sale, 13 years old. Will hack out alone or in company. Good for farrier, good to load. Up to date with teeth jabs back etc. Not a complete novice as if not ridden regular he can get a bit more spooked and can sometime turn around if he doesnt want to do something. But with a confident rider to turn him back round and kick him on he is fine. Not strong. He is fine with traffic once riding regular but again when not ridden out for a while he can get spooked and try and turn. He is a pacer but has been retrained to walk trot canter in previous home, however, i have continued to push with this as i prefer him pacing. He loves to jump and can take a novice round cross poles or a more experienced rider round a full course. My daughter has jumped him round courses of cm. He could jump higher. They have jumped single fences of 1 meter at home. He is happy to please and is very good at correcting rider errors. He schools very easily and would be very good at dressage but this didn't interest my daughter. He is a gentleman inside and outside of the stable. Good with the dentist, vet and farrier. Had is back and teeth done in March. His only vice is he doesn't like clippers and would need sedating by the vet if clipped. He could take someone very far. 15.2 coloured gelding for sale

Texas is a 15.2 coloured gelding. I have only had him for a very short time but the previous owner has had him for the past 12 years. Texas is a very sweet horse but is sadly up for sale due to him being too much for me to handle, my current injury is taking priority and that he needs to go to someone who will have the confidence and patience to work with him and to understand him. He is exceptional out at shows in hand and has always come away in the top three andgaining championships and reserves. I have sadly lost my confidence and he needs to go somewhere to be a companion or an I hand show horse. As for being ridden he is a little nervous whilst hacking on his own but is good when in company. He does a foot perfect show when he is out but does like to stand still and has reared with me on him. He is not a novice ride. He will stand for the farrier, He will stand to be groomed, plaited, comes to call and can be turned out with any horse. Very simple to feed does not require any special feed.
