I have been playing the drums since I was ), and teaching since . I currently play in an 80s rock covers band ("DeLorean"), as well as depping for "Run for Cover" and "Groove-X". I have been playing in bands of various genres since I was 18, and have also worked in the music industry on and off since this time. Players of all levels and ages (+) and levels (beginner - grade 8 and beyond) are welcome for lessons, which can either be "for fun", geared towards grades, to improve technique or for any other reason! Lessons can be weekly, one off, every fortnight or ad hoc depending on availability and requirements. I am available for lessons during the day as well as some evenings and weekends. Lessons take place in my home teaching studio, with both electronic (customised Roland kit) and acoustic (Yamaha Stage Custom) drums available to learn and practice on. Lessons are £15 for 30 minutes, £ for 45 minutes and £30 for an hour. I now run my own business, Dave's Drums, specialising in refurbishing and repairing drums and accessories.
