My name is Dave Harris. I have been drumming for 27 years and teaching for over 15 years. I have a few spaces available for drum lessons. All ages catered for - the only requirement for small children is that they must be able to reach the pedals and snare drum at the same time (roughly age 6). I teach both children and adults, both beginners and those wishing to improve. I am a gigging musician and currently play in an 80s rock covers band called DeLorean, as well as being the dep drummer for Run for Cover and Groove-X. Lessons are generally 30 minutes (although longer lessons are possible) and cost £15 for half an hour. My teaching studio in my family home is equipped with both electronic and acoustic drum kits. I have been playing in bands of various genres since I was 18, and have also worked in the music industry on and off since this time. Players of all levels and ages (+) and levels (beginner - grade 8 and beyond) are welcome for lessons, which can either be "for fun", geared towards grades, to improve technique or for any other reason! Lessons can be weekly, one off, every fortnight or ad hoc depending on availability and requirements. I am available for lessons during the day as well as some evenings and weekends. Lessons take place in my home teaching studio, with both electronic (customised Roland kit) and acoustic (Yamaha Stage Custom) drums available to learn and practice on. I'm Joseph and I am an experienced drummer of 8 years and I am grade 8 on drums, with many qualifications in music and I would now like to offer drumming lessons to children aged 4-16! The lessons would be for beginners and develop into intermediate and even advanced levels! Lessons would be £22 an hour, there would be 4 lessons per month, one a week. Lessons are held from 5pm-8pm on a weekday and from 9am-8pm on weekends. During school term time I can offer the weekend hours during the week also.
