Ikea small double bed frame for four foot mattress. The steele rails which support the pine slats can be mounted up to five inches lower so that the mattress sits inside the frame. There are three positions, the one shown in the photos, five inches lower or roughly half way between. If space is limited or access to the bedroom is awkward, this could be the solution as the slats roll up and the sides, footboard and headboard can be separated.
