A lovely tactile conker / chestnut coloured saddle, name plate missing off rear of saddle, has some nice repairs / distressing. Have added a few ideas in the photos, could be converted to a desk seat, perhaps footstool or shop window prop / decoration Have tried to take pictures in all lighting as our room is quite dark, flash has been used in some pictures, would say the leather looks the tones of conker. Sorry, I don't know if it's military, dressage, horse, pony or what. Just know I had to have it at the time, lovely old item. Please note other items in pictures are not part of this sale.  Beautiful old leather saddle.  Was used fairly recently for getting new horses used to the weight of it.  Quite small measuring   inches from front to back. Has recently become more of a fixture in the house as I've polished and waxed it up to its former glory and considered mounting on a fitting to use as a stool!  Looks great hanging over a bannister or something. Size: 6.5" x 3.5" x 1.5" There is some loss of plating on side with handle, along top edge near hinge and on underside where it has been worn away, presumably by the original case. Antique Hunting Saddle Sandwich Box and Leather Case by George Parker, London. A genuine piece of hunting history from one of the best saddlers and suppliers of the time.   In this case cost 30/- !!!!!!!! Double hinged box so opens out flat, all in very good sound fully working condition. Size: 5.25" x 3" x 1" The box is made of pewter and has a few blemishes, spots, tarnish and wear marks, but all looks the part for a lovely vintage piece - lots of hunting history here! Please examine the photos to see the wear, but note that there are some reflections as well. Leather case in good condition, with some cracking to leather straps, but still in working condition.  (One strap replaced at some point) Original chamois leather lining still intact.  Will post abroad, please contact for quote before bidding.

Vintage leather carry case to attach to the D rings on the saddle. Used for many years hunting to carry stirrup cups / flask / etc. Still in good useable order with original D ring straps. It is stamped 'Made by R M Williams P/L SA Solid hide'. A pair of vintage black leather riding boots with wooden trees. The boots were handmade for a friend in the s/70s and are a classic straight leg pull on design with leather lining. The size is approx ladies 4-5. They are good vintage condition for a pair of boots which have been well used. The vintage trees are 4 piece, made of wood with brass ring pull and the name Tristram Calcutta on the top. The foot piece of one tree is missing. The external length of the boot sole is 10". The external height of the outside leg from the ground is 15.5".  The internal height up the back of the boot is 15.5".  With some tlc they could still be worn for hunting or would make a lovely decorative item.   They are a large and heavy item so collection in person is preferred but I am happy to courier so please contact me if you would like a quote.   I have lots of other equestrian items for sale and will combine p&p - have a look!
