Vintage leather carry case to attach to the D rings on the saddle. Used for many years hunting to carry stirrup cups / flask / etc. Still in good useable order with original D ring straps. It is stamped 'Made by R M Williams P/L SA Solid hide'. All the leather, buckles, stitching and straps are in good useable order for its age.  Has been in store for a while though so needs a good cleaning. Please see our other items for sale.

Antique Hunting Saddle Sandwich Box and Leather Case by George Parker, London. A genuine piece of hunting history from one of the best saddlers and suppliers of the time.   In this case cost 30/- !!!!!!!! Double hinged box so opens out flat, all in very good sound fully working condition. Size: 5.25" x 3" x 1" The box is made of pewter and has a few blemishes, spots, tarnish and wear marks, but all looks the part for a lovely vintage piece - lots of hunting history here! Please examine the photos to see the wear, but note that there are some reflections as well. Leather case in good condition, with some cracking to leather straps, but still in working condition.  (One strap replaced at some point) Original chamois leather lining still intact.  Will post abroad, please contact for quote before bidding.

Vintage Silver Plated Sandwich Box. Double hinged so opens out flat, all in very good sound fully working condition. Size: 6.5" x 3.5" x 1.5" There is some loss of plating on side with handle, along top edge near hinge and on underside where it has been worn away, presumably by the original case. Please examine the photos to see the wear, but note that there are some reflections as well! Will make a fine replacement if you have the leather case to fit. You are bidding on a old used English leather saddle. The seat of the saddle is 18" (from the back of the seat to the pomell) and the width (where the horses withers are) is 6". There are plenty signs of wear but still plenty of use left. This saddle is a typical old English saddle. Local pick up preferred however am willing to post at buyers cost. Rare 19 inch english leather saddle. I wonder if it might have started life as an 18 inch but due to the way the cantle has flattened out slightly is now longer? Narrow to medium fitting measures 7 inch d to d. Brown leather. Old and well used but well cared for and in good condition for its age. Very comfy. Tree checked by saddler. Has d rings added for hip flask etc as can see from last picture
