This is another unusual bit from my collection I don't know if it has a name but seems to be a sort of curb bit It is made of metal and could be  plated nickel but is very shiney and heavy it has long shanks re 9" The mouthpiece is almost 5" and has a central high port of nearly 2" Is this bit English or from abroad ?

Unusual headcollar, green coloured with a pattern of burgandy horses running on it. Silver coloured fittings. I think this might be an older weatherbeeta headcollar, the fittings are stamped "wbeeta" but i cannot find anything to be certain so it's listed as unbranded. It has adjustable headpiece but not on the nose or throat, could be good for hard to catch horses to wear in the field as there are less fittings to get caught up in.  This is a well used headcollar, the holes for the buckle dont have eyes on them anymore, and there is some tarnish to the fittings and some general wear to the material, but it is overall in good usable condition, and looked surprisingly stylish on my boy when I tried it on. Would suit a bay or a black or maybe a grey. I can’t find any makers name on it but it is stamped “Solid Nickel Silver”. It is much in need of a clean. I will post the item Royal Mail Small Parcel, Second Class Recorded.
