One 4' 9" Snuggy Hoods sweet itch rug. Bought at the beginning of the fly season for a young mare showing signs of sweet itch. I bought the rug too small and only had her in this for a week until the next size arrived, you can imagine how annoyed with myself I was considering the cost. For those who don't know about snuggy hoods personally I think they are far the best sweet itch rug for comfort and practicality. For more information about the rugs and more photos I suggest you check out their website before placing a bid on this one. www.snuggyhoods.com For those who know what you are looking at I don't need to expand on my description. The rug has one tiny hole which I have patched. The hole is approx. 1cm and I have covered it with a 4cm square patch shown in photo 3. Snuggy Hoods come with a patching kit and spare Velcro, I have used fabric from a kit from an old rug and will send the intact patching kit for this rug to who ever buys the rug. The rug is like new in good working order and has been clean. I will not accept returns due to previous timewasting buyers so please know that this rug is actually the one you want before placing a bid.These rugs retail new for £95 and this one is practically brand new.

This rug is made from a 100% soft and tightly weaved polyester with elasticated edges that prevent small insects from getting to the horse. Dense and absorbing it vents the sweat and reduces the damaging effects of UV rays on sensitive skin. Close fitting to the body it protects from the neck to the tail whilst the hood covers from the shoulder to the head including a mesh eye section and an adjustable nose strap. It is equipped with adjustable flaps at the base of the neck and adjustable elastic straps on the neck and rear legs with clips. The belly is entirely covered with a wide removable girth that is clipped on at the top of the back. Elasticated and adjustable with velcro and a clip anchoring system on the girth straps interlocking with the sheet. Machine washable.
