This is a dark brown english saddle, see pictures for makers plate. 16 inch pommel to cantle, front to back. 16.5 from stud to middle of cantle. Approx 8 ins Dring to Dring. I would think it is a medium fit. Only for sale as is one of a multitude of saddles bought to try for our large donkey, but this is too forward cut for her. It is a used saddle with a few nicks in underside nr gullet, could do with a stitch or two on top too,  and has a few scratches, but this is only cosmetic, see pics, if you wanted to have it repaired it would be a small inexpensive job. If you are not fussy about appearance this is a ready to go saddle, with lovely soft leather. These english saddles go on forever, no returns, if it doesnt fit you will have to resell it. Will be sent by my hermes courier. Free postage!

Close contact which gives the rider a better feel of the pony.   Measures approx 7-1/2 inches d-ring to d-ring I would say approx. a medium fit but see photos and decide for yourself.   Made in Walsall England (see photo) although no maker’s plate, it is a well made saddle with nice quality English leather.   Shows normal signs of use as you’d expect from a used saddle, and has a couple of small water stains on the seat (shown in photos) but these would be covered with a rider on-board.   Lovely little saddle still suitable for the show ring.   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown   Bargain price.   AGAIN please ONLY bid if you agree to all terms in listing description ONLY! I am selling my 16.5 inch gp saddle that was made for my youngster 9 months ago by Dave Johnson at the Walsall saddle company. It is 9 inches from center of D - D ring. This is made of brown leather on the top, and surge underneath. It is very slightly scuffed at the edge of the saddle flaps at the front, which I have shown in photos (its not obvious when riding, I have been doing ridden showing in this saddle and still done well). I am selling this saddle as seen from photos. The reason I am selling is that my youngster has drastically changed shape and it's no longer wide enough, so this will go towards the funding for my new saddle. I have regularly cleaned and oiled the saddle so it's well looked after. Happy bidding, any questions please ask.

Heritage (Walsall) 17" GP saddle. Overall a used saddle in good condition.  Needs a clean. Sound, supple and has been used regularly.  Has some scuffs and wear and there are tiny bumps (which may scrape off) on some of the leather but this is superficial, the saddle is useable, comfortable and will polish up with some elbow grease fantastic  Signs of wear include some wear to stitching on panels but its very useable and easily rectified, in my opinion.  It doesn't affect me using it at all. Collection welcome.
