Throwgood Maxam Cob Saddle best suited to wider barrel hard to fit type horses.  This is a wide saddle with flat panels and has three girth straps and a fourth point strap for extra security against movement on flat backed cobs or wider horses.  I am only selling as I no longer have the horse I used for this saddle on. Please note that this is not a gullet changing saddle it is a fixed gullet and is stamped as extra wide 17". A lovely top quality GFS pro extra GP saddle. The saddle is stamped as a fit. It measures 10 inches between the D rings and 5 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. A fabulous saddle that has had very little use and is in very good condition.

Selling my Saddle Company GP Cob Verona Saddle, it is dark brown in colour, seat size 17 inch and has point and balance straps fitted to help with stability on the round cob types. It is made to fit my very wide, short backed, 14.2 hh cob but these saddles are easily adjustable by your saddle fitter. It is in a good used condition, like a fool I did not use buckle guards and as you will see in the photo, one of the undersides of the flaps has a hole worn through, however, this would IMO be easily patched by a saddler and it has not gone all the way through to the outer flap (though it is very thin in that small area). So saddle flaps have normal wear from stirrup leathers and there are a few marks on cantle and gullet.... Normal wear for a 6 year old saddle. I have tried my best to remove the hair from the underside of the surge saddle panels, as for best possible fit I often used the saddle with no numnah and just a small anti slip pad but please be aware there are some hairs in the underside of the saddle. I have tried to show every possible part of the saddle in all the photos. Only selling as our main discipline is now dressage and need to get a new dressage saddle. Either cash on collection from Fawkham in Kent or PayPal only please. No returns offered so please make sure this saddle is right for you before bidding.
