A lovely quality black english leather GP saddle made by GFS/Fieldhouse. The saddle measures 17" from stud to cantle, 9.5 inches between the D rings and 5.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. There is a bit of surface cracking to the leather on the saddle flaps and the gfs badge is missing on the off side but otherwise a very nice saddle in good condition.

General Purpose 17 " leather saddle Very comfy Wide saddle. (pic shows width of gullet) This saddle has been checked by a professional saddler and confirmed tree is 100% as it was involved in an accident. Hence the marks on top of pommel and cantle (please see pics). All can be covered by seat saver. Other than that it is in good used condition as it was only 6 months old. Not needed as we got a new one in insurance claim.

Selling my Saddle Company GP Cob Verona Saddle, it is dark brown in colour, seat size 17 inch and has point and balance straps fitted to help with stability on the round cob types. It is made to fit my very wide, short backed, 14.2 hh cob but these saddles are easily adjustable by your saddle fitter. It is in a good used condition, like a fool I did not use buckle guards and as you will see in the photo, one of the undersides of the flaps has a hole worn through, however, this would IMO be easily patched by a saddler and it has not gone all the way through to the outer flap (though it is very thin in that small area). So saddle flaps have normal wear from stirrup leathers and there are a few marks on cantle and gullet.... Normal wear for a 6 year old saddle. I have tried my best to remove the hair from the underside of the surge saddle panels, as for best possible fit I often used the saddle with no numnah and just a small anti slip pad but please be aware there are some hairs in the underside of the saddle. I have tried to show every possible part of the saddle in all the photos. Only selling as our main discipline is now dressage and need to get a new dressage saddle. Either cash on collection from Fawkham in Kent or PayPal only please. No returns offered so please make sure this saddle is right for you before bidding.

Lovely deep secure seat and very comfortable as GFS's tend to be.  Soft leather, fabulous tan piping detail front and back.  A real bargain for someone.  She tells me her horse was an arab cross, so fit suitable I would think for this type and thoroughbreds.   There is a small amount of scratches to the cantle from storage as pictured but doesn't detract from this lovely saddle at a great price. And obviously normal wear from where the stirrup leathers have been.   Can collect from WR1 or WR5.  Any questions please are most welcome. I also have to say if you were to take a chance on this saddle, please trust me it's worth every penny of £150 and should be going for £300 at least.
