Details about   17" Dark Brown GP Saddle Company Adjustable

Saddle Company GP saddle in dark havana brown leather.   In good clean condition with no tears or rips but used so some light marks as you would expect from normal wear.  It hasn't had a great deal of use so the girth straps are in good condition.  The seat is underlaid with soft foam as standard.  The saddle panels are covered with serge which is warm and comfortable for the horse and the saddle is lightweight, and comfortable to ride in. The upper part of the saddle is leather.  There are also moveable velcro knee blocks under the knee panels.  As currently configured it is about a medium/wide - see the photos for measurements, but any saddle company approved fitter can easily adjust the saddle to a different width.   Unfortunately it is a bit too long for my 14.2h hence sale.   I'm happy to post or you can collect.

Selling this lovely well preserved saddle on behalf of a friend who no longer has her horse.  But I can honestly say she's looked after this one, One owner from new.  A Dark Brown Fieldhouse City 17 inch I believe medium width, 9 inches from centre of D ring to D ring.  And the Flap from stirrup bar is 15 inches. Lovely deep secure seat and very comfortable as GFS's tend to be.  Soft leather, fabulous tan piping detail front and back.  A real bargain for someone.  She tells me her horse was an arab cross, so fit suitable I would think for this type and thoroughbreds.   There is a small amount of scratches to the cantle from storage as pictured but doesn't detract from this lovely saddle at a great price. And obviously normal wear from where the stirrup leathers have been.   Can collect from WR1 or WR5.  Any questions please are most welcome. I also have to say if you were to take a chance on this saddle, please trust me it's worth every penny of £150 and should be going for £300 at least.

This is a good quality saddle which originally cost £800 ten years ago. It is in good condition for it's age, but does have some marks and signs of wear. In particular, there is some damage to the cantle, which can clearly be seen from the photos, but this does not detract from it's usability, and is reflected in the reasonable price.

17.5" Brown Leather GP Saddle Medium fit (9" from d-ring to d-ring) By David Sayer (North Yorkshire based Master Saddler) This saddle is in very good condition, and has been well cared for (regularly cleaned and oiled). It has a very comfortable, deep seat. There are a few rub/wear marks across the cantle, slightly on the pommel, and also on the knee rolls, which can all be seen on the photographs. None of these affect the integrity of the leather having caused only superficial colour change. The tree, all stitching, straps and rings are in tact.
