Great quality Leather Bitless Bridle - Complete with Leather Reins Now over 200 sold and lots of great feedback!! Cross-Under Design - these straps are flat leather so sit comfortably against the horse rather than rolled leather which can be stiff, less comfortable and less supple. These bridles are made from soft supple leather, with silver fastenings and soft padded brow and nose bands. The bridle is fully adjustable including the 'cross under' straps. Colour: Black We have had great positive feedback about this product!! Approximate measurements:- Full/Large The nose band is approx 26" diameter The brow band is 16" The length from the bottom of the cheek piece to the bottom of the other cheek piece when set on the last (maximum) hole is 48" end to end. Medium/Cob The nose band is approx 24" diameter The brow band is 15" The length from the bottom of the cheek piece to the bottom of the other cheek piece when set on the last (maximum) hole is 43" end to end. This is a great alternative to a traditional 'bit' bridle. Since I've had her,she just wants to rush all the time and flies through her smooth gait into a hard pace.The problem was..Whenever I would pull back on the reins(I have tried 3 different bits)to slow/collect her, her nose would go higher! She was resisting the bit and couldn't be collected at all.Using the bitless gig,She calmed down considerably,dropped her head and I got that smooth gait again.She's not perfect yet, but with more time I hope she will smooth out more and most importantly.. I feel she is going to do very nicely with it.             Mary Hi, I used my bitless on my 5 yr. old fox trotter for the 2nd time today.We both love it! He is so relaxed and responds perfectly.Why use a bit when you don't have to. He doesn't toss his head when we canter and doesn't fidgett with a bit in his mouth.He also stays in his gait and stops on a dime.
