This bit has been used a minimal amount of times. Couple of marks from teeth. Fantastic bit only for sale due to loss of pony Description copied from neue Schule website Although single jointed, the NS Demi Anky is ergonomically designed to eradicate the nutcracker action and subsequent problems that the traditional straight-armed single jointed snaffle can cause. The cleverly curved mouthpiece eliminates upper palate interference and it also prevents it from lying too far forwards in the mouth causing pressure on the thinner more sensitive part of the tongue. It sweeps slightly away from the corner of the lip to lessen any chance of rubbing and the curvature down towards the bars achieves a gentle even weight bearing surface across the bars. When a contact is taken the mouthpiece forms a channel for the tongue giving relief over the thinner more sensitive outer edges. We find this design is very beneficial for horses that back off or only offer an intermittent contact or for the very rare occasion when a horse does not find a lozenge comfortable Any questions please message me:)

Neue Schule used Tranz-Angled Lozenge Loose Ring (70mm) Snaffle Bit, I think it is the 14mm.  The info from Neue Schule on this bit: A gentle training tool with a bit of extra help When a contact is taken, the Tranz Angled Lozenge rolls down onto the centre of the tongue, the ‘sweet spot’, enhancing feel and responsiveness, thus a higher level of communication through the rein is achieved. The arms are slightly curved and of an oval profile.  This oval design takes up less room between the tongue and upper palate, whilst offering a similar weight bearing surface from the horse’s perspective as thicker, circular mouthpieces.  The 14mm normally offers extra lift from the shoulder and takes up less room in the mouth than thicker mouthpieces.

Neue schule 5 3/4 Wilkie bit. Has been used but in good condition. No reserve so grab yourself a bargain. The Beval cheeks have two settings. Option 1 is the action of a loose ring baucher (poll pressure) and Option 2 is the action of a mild gag. The Beval is particularly popular with the show ponies, often used for lead rein and first ridden. It is not a severe bit although it offers a little more control and helps especially the child rider as it promotes outline, head carriage and responsiveness (it helps the child to bring the pony’s nose in). It is available with a small, neat bradoon ring and is perfectly acceptable on the show pony’s head.
