The comfort snaffle low port mouth piece has a barrel in the centre to sit comfortably on the horses tongue, it has a low port to allow a bit (!) more room for the tongue. 5" Myler Toklat low port comfort snaffle with D Rings, iv literally just bought this bit and used for one hour in my lesson, although my horse went beautifully into an easy round contact with the low port action her cheek conformation didn't suit the D Ring style, it rubbed her,  her cheeks bones are very large and quite low, im gutted because it ticked all the boxes, it has a great stopping action too, a fab bit for a green strong youngster, with tongue / mouthing issues and a reluctance to accept a consistent contact. Hardly used Myler Toklat 5.5" Pelham bit. Selling as no longer have a need for it. These bits are top of the range and expensive to buy brand new; this bit has only been used a handful of times and is in immaculate condition as you can see from the photos. An excellent bit for a keen horse and encourages a lower head carriage with a forgiving action, allowing plenty of tongue room. The bit also features copper inlays to encourage salivation and acceptance. "Solid curved mouthpiece with 1" port with centre barrel for ISM. Gives lots of tongue room and will not collapse but will roll down onto tongue when horse's head is out in front. Myler Level Two/Three, good for strong, keen horse who tends to put his head out in front."
