Exceptionally well made and solid saddle with wide bearing surfaces. Extremely comfortable. Black, generous 17” (see photograph), fit estimated as narrow side of medium (see photograph). Knee and thigh rolls. Tiny mark on skirt (hardly visible) as shown in photograph.  Some slight indentations on third girth strap also as shown in photograph.  Otherwise in very good and sound condition.  Leather is flexible and has been well looked after.  Viewing (Taunton, Somerset) is welcomed.

14.5" Morris & Nolan GP Saddle Brown Leather Seat measures 14.5" diagonally from stud to cantel Stamped Medium fit on stirrup bar but was re flocked and is more medium/wide. I have added a picture showing the width with a tape measure. Lovely little saddle which has been oiled regularly to keep the leather soft, unfortunately jockey has now outgrown. Quality Black English Leather Morris & Nolan GP Saddle, 17.5" Seat Has slightly straighter cut saddle flaps so ideal for a cob with broad shoulders. Measures Approx 10" between front D rings. Stirrup bar to bottom of saddle flap 15" Gullet width along length of saddle 3" I used this on my Welsh Section D youngster, and found it comfortable to ride in. Usual signs of wear from sirrups and a small nick on cantle so not show condition but nice saddle for everyday use.

Black English made show hunter pony   saddle. Made by Morris & Nolan, Walsall. Good quality, useful little saddle. British standard on the stirrup bar. Measures " from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures 8 1/2" across the dee's. This is a nice med-wide fit. Flap measures " from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Point strap to help hold the saddle back behind the ponies shoulder. Normal signs of use. Nice flocked panels. Flocking is soft and even. Nice wide gullet with flat panels. Smart little saddle, unfortunately has a few marks on the off side back panel gusset - looks like cat scratches. And slight fading of the leather in places. Otherwise the saddle has been beautifully looked after. Leather is soft and supple and gives a very elegant silhouette to the pony. Ideal for showing, Pony Club etc. Any questions please ask! 17 inch Morris and Nolan GP saddle

Excellent condition GP saddle. W/XW. I used this saddle on my section D. It has a comfortable upswept seat and large knee rolls. The seat is very generous for 17 inch but it still sits nicely on a short backed horse. I am 5’8 and not light weight and I was very comfortable in it. This is a wonderful saddle just reduced in price, as needs a good home! Has plenty of life left in it, very comfy.   Brown leather Morris and Nolan saddle. Measured as '' from nail to centre of cantle, which sounds right as its a lovely comfortable saddle. The stirrup bar shows N, so believe narrow fit, which again sounds right as fitted a 16.1hh thoroughbred mare perfectly. Stuffing good and leather is in relatively good condition, with girth straps secure. Slight splitting of leather on front of saddle flap at top, see picture, but does not effect it, cosmetic. This has been a great saddle, with many more years of use in it. The British standard mark is BS Welcome to come and view before bidding. Sold as seen. Pictures really don't do it justice. No returns though once purchased please. Local pickup only.

We have a M+N 15.5” saddle for sale. D-D distance is 9”. The saddle has been used on a 16.2h Irish Sport x Cob for showjumping and general hacking. The saddle is very comfortable and its short length and high cantle are great, giving a very sure seat. I do not know how old the saddle is; it came with the horse some 2 years ago.
