Exceptionally well made and solid saddle with wide bearing surfaces. Extremely comfortable. Black, generous 17” (see photograph), fit estimated as narrow side of medium (see photograph). Knee and thigh rolls. Tiny mark on skirt (hardly visible) as shown in photograph.  Some slight indentations on third girth strap also as shown in photograph.  Otherwise in very good and sound condition.  Leather is flexible and has been well looked after.  Viewing (Taunton, Somerset) is welcomed.

This is a wonderful saddle just reduced in price, as needs a good home! Has plenty of life left in it, very comfy.   Brown leather Morris and Nolan saddle. Measured as '' from nail to centre of cantle, which sounds right as its a lovely comfortable saddle. The stirrup bar shows N, so believe narrow fit, which again sounds right as fitted a 16.1hh thoroughbred mare perfectly. Stuffing good and leather is in relatively good condition, with girth straps secure. Slight splitting of leather on front of saddle flap at top, see picture, but does not effect it, cosmetic. This has been a great saddle, with many more years of use in it. The British standard mark is BS Welcome to come and view before bidding. Sold as seen. Pictures really don't do it justice. No returns though once purchased please. Local pickup only.

Welcome to my listing. Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   English leather GP made by Dominion a well-known saddler for making superb quality saddles, rare to find in this size 15-inch brown, Medium fit (stamped “M”)   In lovely condition for a used saddle, its been well looked after, no damage, 100% sound. Nice deep seat with good size knee blocks offers the jockey lots of support.   Measures approx 8-1/2 inches d-ring to d-ring I would say although its stamped medium that it’s a medium to medium-wide fit but you can decide for yourself.   Lovely quality English leather. Girth straps are in very good condition.   Shows normal signs of use as you’d expect from a used saddle such as some rubbing where stirrup leathers have been/small marks, some slight fading to the leather where riders leg has been. 14.5" Morris & Nolan GP Saddle Brown Leather Seat measures 14.5" diagonally from stud to cantel Stamped Medium fit on stirrup bar but was re flocked and is more medium/wide. I have added a picture showing the width with a tape measure. Lovely little saddle which has been oiled regularly to keep the leather soft, unfortunately jockey has now outgrown. We have a M+N 15.5” saddle for sale. D-D distance is 9”. The saddle has been used on a 16.2h Irish Sport x Cob for showjumping and general hacking. The saddle is very comfortable and its short length and high cantle are great, giving a very sure seat. I do not know how old the saddle is; it came with the horse some 2 years ago.
