Saddle has been stored and went dry on the seat, therefore has some light cracking to the surface, which is getting much better with feed, and one button missing..obviously easily replaced if required Could easily be a very nice saddle again, with a little money spent...therefore a bargain! Girth straps good condition Tree is sound, flocking seems good, well padded and even; I'd be happy if I bought this saddle for this price:) Would be ideal for medium built horse/ pony. I am selling my black leather 17" saddle as it doesn't fit my new horse. It is good quality and condition. There is a small scrape on the cantle. The bottom of the saddle flaps need a few new stitches either side but this is easily repaired by a saddler. I have shown this in the photos. Med wide. 8" D to D I could probably post if necessary for around £25 but it is at buyers risk.

There is a very small scratch in the leather on the cantle, as photographed, but only visible very close up. Very comfortable, deep seated, supportive dressage saddle with lovely squishy knee rolls. A lovely quality black english leather GP saddle made by GFS/Fieldhouse. The saddle measures 17" from stud to cantle, 8 inches between the D rings and 4.75 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The stirrup bar is stamped with an M.  The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. A very nice saddle in good condition.

I'm selling my beautiful 17.5" Black Country GP saddle, black wonderfully soft leather. Med-wide fit with wither gussets. Semi-deep seat, the panels and flocking are still nice and soft with no lumps. The usual minor signs of wear are present but its generally been looked after very well. It's built on a spring tree so the width can be altered by a saddler with a templating machine usually on site.

his is a lovely useful little saddle, it is very smart black leather with nice and shiny studs, D's and bars, it is stamped wide but please view the pommel measurement for accuracy. Please note that on the front photo the sun is shining on the seat making it look like there are leather ripples however as you can see from the picture from the top of the seat this is mearly the light. It has signs of use as you would expect for a used GP, please not patches of wear under where thestirrup leather would sit and also the little leather loop at the back on the underside between the two panels has come loose but could be sewn/glued back or simply ignored lol. all in all its a nice everyday GP at a nice reasonable price - happy to post and paypal welcome Read More
