Lovely, comfortable, 17 inch medium fit Jeffries Falcon GP saddle in brown leather.  Unfortunately it doesn't fit my current horse who has very high withers. Tree has been checked by local Saddler. Some nicks in the leather on the cantle (see photo) and minor repairs to the stitching on the skirt are visible but otherwise good condition.

So a good quality saddle. Came off a 14hh New forest. Has been out grown. It is fairly straight cut and allows plenty of room for the shoulder. I have used it as a Working hunter saddle for this reason.

Unfortunately this saddle is surplus to requirements as whilst it fits the pony, it doesn't fit the child it was intended for! It is in extremely good condition and as the photos show is leather with serge panels and synthetic flaps so is the best of all worlds! It has a wide gullet & wide panels to distribute the weight of the rider away from the spine, and is designed to fit awkward-shaped native ponies with broad flat backs & no withers. I do not have space in my tack room for all the saddles that I have found really useful and comfortable so am having a clear-out and getting rid of everything very cheaply! I have listed this item elsewhere so may end the auction early, but I am happy for anyone near to RG9 to view it, or else to try it on. Saddle is a little older and has the normal signs of wear and good use but is in an overall very good condition. I have had it for 1 year and it has been unused and kept safely stored away. Saddle was purchased as a dressage saddle but the knee rolls are slightly angled so would easily do as a gp saddle. Perfect if you are looking for a relatively cheap or starter saddle.
