Brand New Double Bridle and bits. I am selling a  lovely brand new double bridle which was given as a present some time ago, but my youngster grew bigger than cob size so it has never been used or even tried on.  I have just moved house and so am selling unused items of tack. When unpacked one of the cheek pieces has gone astray! so I have bought a brand new pair to match the original. I don't think anybody would even notice but I want to be completely honest. I am also including double bridle bits (sliding Weymouth with port and bradoon bit) plus curb chain with the bridle, these are not brand new but excellent condition. see photo's) Bridle still has tabs with Derby House label. 2 pairs of reins, the plaited pair are slightly wider than the plain pair which is correct for double bridle. 1 Headpiece 2 cheek pieces " Browband  14" 1 noseband.. 1" wide    28"length (around nose). 1 extra headpiece for bridoon bit with cheekpiece This is a cob size bridle 5/8th" wide leather (other than noseband) Bits approx. 5 1/2" (see photo's). Here is a lovely cob size sabre bridle, hunter style flat noseband and head peice. I bought this for my boy for showing but it's too small. In new condition as don't believe it had been used when I bought it but no tags. Slight scratches on nose and which I think with a bit of oil would be hardly visible. Please see pics. This must have happened while trying on. Original Sabre double reins included, not rubber lined. Headband 3/4", noseband 1" and reins 1/2" and the other is just slightly less. In Havanah brown colour. In immaculate as new condition, lovely bridle. Open to offers this was around originally.

I dont know the brans of this bridle but the leather is lovely and supple and well cared for.  Plain hunter browband and a rolled caveson noseband complete with 2 pairs of well oiled and cleaned leather reins.  I always perfer to buy quality second hand items then cheap new ones and this bridle represents excellent value.  Quality enough to show in.

You are bidding on a full size, rolled leather double bridle in havana. Despite buying it 2nd hand myself, this bridle has never been on a horse! I bought it with tags taken off, but the plastic attachments for the tags still attached. It has only been done up for me to try it on. Unfortunately, there is no browband with this bridle, hence price, it would sell for a lot more with browband as is a truly gorgeous bridle. Comes with 2 sets rolled reins. Its stamped XF (see pic), but my horse is a small extra full (normally 2nd holes down) but this doesnt reach his ears on bottom holes!! So am selling as a full sized bridle, however, would probably fit a cob sized horse. I am open to sensible offers - I paid £60 for this bridle, but feel free to message offers. I've been as honest as I can in this listing, but any questions please ask. Unfortunately, I don't accept returns/refunds and will only post within the UK.
