The Rambo Micklem competition bridle is the first bridle or cavesson that has been designed from the inside out, following the shape of the skull itself instead of just from the outward appearance of the head. In particular the Micklem competition bridle avoids any pressure on the facial nerves, the projecting cheek bones or the upper jaw molar teeth. This prevents pressure, both to facial nerves and the sensitive tissues lining the cheeks inside the mouth by a tight fitting cavesson or flash nosebands.
