The Rambo Micklem Competition Bridle is 5/8" cheek Eco-friendly, hand finished leather and supplied   without reins. The Rambo Micklem Competition Bridle features silver coloured buckles, comfortable padding acreoss the nose, head piece, brow band and on cheek pieces, chin and throat strap guard to prevent rubbing. The Rambo Micklem competition bridle is the first bridle or cavesson that has been designed from the inside out, following the shape of the skull itself instead of just from the outward appearance of the head. In particular the Micklem competition bridle avoids any pressure on the facial nerves, the projecting cheek bones or the upper jaw molar teeth. This prevents pressure, both to facial nerves and the sensitive tissues lining the cheeks inside the mouth by a tight fitting cavesson or flash nosebands. The main reason for this is obvious to see when looking at the skull of a horse. The top jaw is considerably wider than the lower jaw and this is true of all horses. The inside of the cheeks are therefore often squashed, bruised and lacerated between the outer edge of the upper jaw teeth on one side and the flash noseband pressing inwards on the other side. In addition it is important to avoid pressure on the delicate, fragile bones at the end of the nose. The Rambo Micklem bridle overcomes all these main areas of discomfort. It also provides a great solution for the many horses who resist because of pain around the frequently damaged bars of the mouth, or hate too much pressure on the tongue and as a result fight the contact or get their tongue over the bit. In addition the weight of the bridle is taken comfortably on a wide and padded headpiece, rather than all the weight going on one narrow noseband strap. Micklem multi bridle Brown As far as I'm aware this is a large horse size,but I bought it 2nd hand-it fits my gypsy cob who has a big head so it probably is right! It's in good condition but has been well used.the person I got it from has put some extra holes in some of the straps. Has all the bits.reins etc for using as a bitless plus 2 new sets of bit clips. It does have a few marks on it & could do with a good oil-I bought it to try & am now selling to buy a new black one,other wise I would keep as it is in good condition. Any questions please do ask
