Hi Ford Cargo Horse Lorry for sale I bought this lorry for my wife without telling her (thought I was a nice thing) but it doesn't have enough overnight living for us as we need min of 4 people. Since it arrived at ours, we have looked in it, drove it a little, stored it for 6 months, forgot about it and moved it to take some better photos. The Good points - Passed last MOT with no advisories New engine put in 5 years ago and now has a 5 speed gear box Low mileage - Starts first time and runs smoothly Cut through cab stalled for 3 airy and bright horse area sound horse area service history (although not sure if full history but does have a lot of paperwork) Easy ramp with good springs easy to drive great "ladies box" Good tyres all round Electrics and lights in good condition and working ample living area with double luton skirt lockers all around radio/tape player The Bad points - Although it passed last MOT no problem, we do think some work to the cab will need to be done before it's renewal due to rust. I offer for sale my trusty old Ford Cargo horse lorry. I have owned it for the past 4 years and I can only describe it as mechanically reliable and a good starter and driver. Sadly, its been sat still since it ran out of test over a year ago, because I bought a newer lorry.  Its starts first time and drives well but I suspect the brakes need attention albeit they seem to fill up with air okay. It would need attention and welding in the usual Cargo places to get it through a test.  The engine is still strong the tyres are very good all round. The battery and exhaust appear in good condition. It does have power steering and an isolator to immobilise. It also has a camera and screen so that you can view the horses whilst in transit. It has a wooden sides and rear which Im sure would be nice if re-polished or varnished. The ramp opens and closes with relative ease. It has a bed above the cab and also a sink and gas grill, kitchen cabinets and tack cupboard. It also has good interior lighting. Please feel free to view or call at anytime but don't waste both mine and your time by turning up at the end of the auction and making silly bids, tyre kicking or haggling outside of the rules, VIEW FIRST ! Im near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire and I can be contacted on . The winner will need to pay me £50 before collecting then a cash balance on collection. For sale Ford Cargo recently had a complete rebuild. Inside is a caravan living, with electric hook up, gas oven, hob and TV. Spot lights along the bottom of seating in living area, leisure battery also included. Recently had a complete respray along with the ramp being redone. Reconditioned power steering box, lorry has the benefit of being a tilt cab with cut through. One good size tack locker on outside with space for two saddles and two bridles. Two more smaller skirt lockers along with storage inside horse area. Nearly new tyers and isolater key on outside. Runs like a dream for its age with 5 speed gearbox. ford iveco horse lorry, unladen weight just under 5 ton New Plaiting!! expires feb just fitted new battery and put in new windscreen, mot garage said its a lovely lorry and very sound, she has been serviced regularly, owned and loved for 3 years, lovely lorry, stalled for three, with 3 dividers, the stalled area has rubber matting, two saddle racks, and rack for rugs etc. the living area has two cupboard, & two bridle racks, the door into the horse area has a small door on top (we liked it as a quick peek when travelling to keep an eye on them) Easy to drive!! & reliable, perfect lorry size not too big like some but not too small either, could do with a wash outside, and some lining replaced on inside of roof, never bothered us so havent replaced,
