Used but in good working condition.  Mexican Grackle noseband.  The Mexican grackle sits higher up on the horses face, usually above the horses protruding cheekbone as opposed to the English grackle with sits under the protruding cheek bone.   It is fully adjustable and has the original padding under the central part.  It is quite commonly used now for stronger horses and ponies as it helps to stop the horse crossing its jaw and evading the riders aids.

Brown wide leather noseband with flash-like strap attached to a metal ring with a leather guard underneath, looks like a cross between a flash and a grackle noseband (never seen one like this before hence my confusion!). The ring and buckles are a little rusty, but it's in otherwise old but useable condition. Could be an interesting display piece or if you know what it is then could be used.
