Full size havana leather grackle noseband used a few times, had extra hole put in it to fit wide headed cob, but does nt make any difference to it. In very good clean condition, very dark colour, padded across nose, not fleecy.

Used but in good working condition.  Mexican Grackle noseband.  The Mexican grackle sits higher up on the horses face, usually above the horses protruding cheekbone as opposed to the English grackle with sits under the protruding cheek bone.   It is fully adjustable and has the original padding under the central part.  It is quite commonly used now for stronger horses and ponies as it helps to stop the horse crossing its jaw and evading the riders aids.

Absolutely beautiful, this is brand new without tags, we have never used it as far as I remember, but have put used as may have put it on a horse to check size, not ever sure we got that far. it has a choice of nose pads one leather and one sheepskin. I think it's german can't remember, but remember paying a fair amount for it. Beautiful stitching on the noseband and browband. Padded headpiece.
