Welcome to my auction for a brown GFS GP Genesis synthetic saddle size 17. The saddle came with a horse I bought but I've never used it. The saddle is sound and is in excellent condition. There is an interchangeable gullet plate. The gullet plate fitted is pink which is Medium Wide, but this can be changed by purchasing different size. The original cover is also included in the sale.

It is in good condition for it's age, but does have some marks and signs of wear. In particular, there is some damage to the cantle, which can clearly be seen from the photos, but this does not detract from it's usability, and is reflected in the reasonable price.

(will add photos when I get home) I have for sale a lovely 2nd hand GFS Genesis GP Saddle; Black, 17" long with an interchangeable gullet currently fitted with a black (Medium) bar. Usual signs of use as a second hand saddle, with wear on the girth straps but overall very good condition. I've used this on my 24 year old pony for the last 2 years without any problems but sadly with age he has changed shape a lot and no longer fits him. General Purpose 17 " leather saddle Very comfy Wide saddle. (pic shows width of gullet) This saddle has been checked by a professional saddler and confirmed tree is 100% as it was involved in an accident. Hence the marks on top of pommel and cantle (please see pics). All can be covered by seat saver. Other than that it is in good used condition as it was only 6 months old. Not needed as we got a new one in insurance claim.

GFS pro vsd saddle in sound condition. It does have some marks from stirrup leathers and the finish on the pommel is a bit worn but it is still a neat looking saddle. The girth straps are in good condition and the stitching sound, I don't have the buckle guards but the serial number is clearly stamped. 17" seat 8.5" D to D 4.5" Gullet level with D's Medium to medium/wide fit. Selling this lovely well preserved saddle on behalf of a friend who no longer has her horse.  But I can honestly say she's looked after this one, One owner from new.  A Dark Brown Fieldhouse City 17 inch I believe medium width, 9 inches from centre of D ring to D ring.  And the Flap from stirrup bar is 15 inches. Lovely deep secure seat and very comfortable as GFS's tend to be.  Soft leather, fabulous tan piping detail front and back.  A real bargain for someone.  She tells me her horse was an arab cross, so fit suitable I would think for this type and thoroughbreds.   There is a small amount of scratches to the cantle from storage as pictured but doesn't detract from this lovely saddle at a great price. And obviously normal wear from where the stirrup leathers have been.   Can collect from WR1 or WR5.  Any questions please are most welcome. I also have to say if you were to take a chance on this saddle, please trust me it's worth every penny of £150 and should be going for £300 at least.

USED GFS Fieldhouse BLACK leather GP saddle ". This is a very nice saddle with a comfortable seat position. The D - D rings measurement is 8 1/2" and the internal gullet measures front 3 1/4" Middle 1 3/4" and back 1 1/4". It is showing some signs of wear at the cantle and pommel but does not effect its use. Also there are two indentation marks on the seat which is not visual when in use along with two small scratch marks.

A lovely quality black english leather GP saddle made by GFS/Fieldhouse. The saddle measures 17" from stud to cantle, 9.5 inches between the D rings and 5.25 inches between the padding in the gullet where it would sit on the horses back. The tree is sound as is all the stitching, the girth straps are in good order and the flocking is smooth and even with a nice amount of give in it. There is a bit of surface cracking to the leather on the saddle flaps and the gfs badge is missing on the off side but otherwise a very nice saddle in good condition.
