Welcome to my listing for this leather horse saddle. This saddle is in used condition and as such has related marks. The padding on the underside is in good condition as are the straps and complete with the metal stirrups. However the leather seat on the top side is splitting and separating (please study pictures). THERE IS A SECTION AT THE FRONT WHICH LOOKS DARK BROWN SUEDE. I THINK THAT IS WHERE THE LEGS RUB? HE SAYS IT IS FOR A 13 TO 14 HAND HORSE. I HAVE MEASURED FROM THE FRONT TO THE BACK AND IT MEASURES INCH. HE SAYS IT ISN'T CRACKED WHICH I PRESUME THAT IS LIKE A BOOK SPINE.

*PICTURE DOES NO JUSTICE TO WEAR- NOT AS BAD AS LOOKS* Genuine leather Ambassador saddle, other than stirrup wear this saddle is in excellent used condition and just needs sprucing up. The tree has been checked recently and this saddle is extremely comfortable. I would say it is a GP although has a slightly straighter cut so would suit hunting/ low level dressage/ showing/ jumping or even just a comfortable every day saddle (there is still enough knee to be comfortable for jumping). If someone spruced up the leather on the saddle flaps this would be a delightful saddle. Main colour is black although it does have dark brown undertones. Pommel to cantle is 17.5inch D ring to d ring (inside pommel) is 4 inch D ring to d ring (actual d ring) is 7 inch Stirrup bar to bottom of flap is 15 inch

Fabulous leather saddle that has been used only a handful of times as bought it for my young horse in the winter and by the spring when I came to ride him it was too small. Had kept it for my next horse which has never arrived so feel its time to let it go. Has been stored in my spare room not outside hence it's lovely condition. Paid £550 new. Happy to sell for a very reasonable price as it is just gathering dust and I would like someone to enjoy it and get some use out of it. Prefer it to go to a loving horse family than a saddle dealer. It is a Meyerstone Princeville Saddle of the Aberdeen design which is a general purpose saddle. It is a very comfortable saddle which I would suggest is a medium wide fit. My horse is now 17.3 and requires a wide fit. (Irish draught x) As you can see from the pictures there are some very small scuff marks where I have foolishly rubbed the saddle when storing but the small marks do disappear if you use a dark saddle polish. They are really hard to see however wanted to show them too you before purchasing. Has been cleaned and treated with saddle oil. You will also see from the pictures that underneath the saddle, and the girth straps are immaculate, as the saddle has hardly ever been used. A lovely tactile conker / chestnut coloured saddle, name plate missing off rear of saddle, has some nice repairs / distressing. Have added a few ideas in the photos, could be converted to a desk seat, perhaps footstool or shop window prop / decoration Have tried to take pictures in all lighting as our room is quite dark, flash has been used in some pictures, would say the leather looks the tones of conker. Sorry, I don't know if it's military, dressage, horse, pony or what. Just know I had to have it at the time, lovely old item. Please note other items in pictures are not part of this sale.
