THIS WAS BOUGHT TO TEST A SHOWJUMPER OUT AS HE WAS GETTING INCREDIABLY STRONG WHEN JUMPING BUT THE WRONG SIZE WAS BOUGHT SO IT WAS NEVER REALLY USED. ALSO KNOWN AS THE CONTINENTAL OR 3 RING GAG. THIS BIT CAN BE USED WITH ONE OR TWO SETS OF REINS, IT CAN ALSO BE USED WITH PELHAM ROUNDINGS. THE REINS CAN BE FITTED ON EITHER OF THE TWO BOTTOM RINGS, THE LOWER THE REINS FITTED THE GREATER THE LEVERAGE. THIS APPLE MOUTH VERSION IS SOFTER AND HAS A WARMER FEEL IN THE MOUTH FOR THE HORSE I PAID £25 FOR THIS BIT AND IT HAS SAT I N THE TACK ROOM EVER SINCE!! TOTAL BARGAIN 99P START WITH NO RESERVE!!
