This never saw much use as we had a second one that fitted better. I'm afraid I don't know much about horse stuff so if you need further measurements, photos etc please tell me exactly what you need and I will try my best. I've given it a clean with neats foot oil (whatever that is ?) no doubt it would benefit from further polishing/attention but to my inexpert eye it does look to be in very good condition. I recall it was thought to be quite narrow.  The ideal scenario would be that you try it out,  so i'll accept returns on condition that collection and return is at your expense and within 2 weeks.

This is an Ideal Working hunter saddle (Photo of buckle guard shows "Working Hunter" in gold writing). 17" seat (as shown in photo), Wide fitting ('W' Stamped on stirrup bar), approximately 9.5" D to D measurement, and this saddle's tree has never been adjusted so is as manufacturer specification of an Ideal wide tree. Flap length approximately 15" from stirrup bar to bottom of flap.  Brown leather, sound tree and good flocking, just missing the left hand side D ring. All stitching and leather is intact. Measurements are as accurate as possible... 9.5 inches from where the D ring would sit. 7.5 inches from top billet to billet.  11.5 inches width from lower billet to billet.  6.5 inch gullet.

Almost immaculate Oakfield WH straight cut saddle in Havana. 17.5" medium wide.   This saddle is my pride and joy but doesn't fit my horse any more. It's always covered and cleaned and oiled regularly.   It's been checked by a saddler and given an excellent bill of health. It's got very little miles to it.   All the scuffs to it are shown in the photographs.   The d ring rmeasures 8.5" to anyone who's going to ask but that means nothing when fitting a saddle.   This has been used on a 16.2 hunter. postage is high as it's a heavy item or collection is available from Preston lancs. I do not take returns but you won't be disappointed with the saddle it's beautiful.

Stunning Lavinia Mitchell saddle sadly for sale! Only selling as I need an 18" seat but have already ordered the same again just in the larger seat as it's such a lovely saddle. 4 years old I have shown the saddle with tape measure to show width as it's not size marked but is very wide and fantastic for flat backed witherless cobs please ask if you would like me to take additional additional photos or measurements:) It's approx 8.5/9 inches from d to d ring which would suggest a wide to x wide fit.   English leather excellent condition slight wear where the stirrup leathers sit and on the under side of the flap where the girth sits as you would expect from a used saddle and shown in photos Super comfy and secure seat the VSD is very similar to working hunter so ideal for horses with large shoulders as it doesn't block the movement. Stirrup bar location designed to help you get the best seat and should hip heel alignment and adjustable knee blocks to give you a secure seat. This saddle has a small postcode stamped by the girth straps a letter to confirm sale of saddle will be sent with saddle but this is still an excellent theft deterrent as makes it much easier to identify. A few white hairs remain on the saddle but I have done my best to hoover and remove all I can these do not effect the saddle in any way. Price reflects the need for a quick sale (as can't but new saddle until this is sold!) and not the quality!   Please note no returns on this item it is sold as seen so if u need extra photos or anything   please ask:) Post within 3-4 working days, and will be parcel force 48hours or equivalent and tracked. brand new with tags G.P/Working Hunter Saddle has only ever been tried on. it measures 17" from stud to cantle and 9" from d to d but the d's are set slightly higher than normal so i would say its really about 10" i think it is probably better suited to a flat backed / barrel shaped pony.
