Farrington's Burford Event GP Saddle nearly new! Seat: 17.5 Width: Medium Black As you will see from the photos this saddle has hardly been used (less than 5 times)! These saddles suit a variety of horses and ponies, in particular those with shape in their backs as opposed to the flat backed types. For the rider it features a medium depth comfort seat with good sized knee rolls giving the rider a good level of support and assistance with balance. For the horse it has a large bearing surface ensuring maximum comfort. Suitable for a wide range of activities including hunting, hacking, dressage, jumping and showing. Sadly our beautiful gelding had to be retired due to health issues and is no longer able to be ridden. We are in Pensilva near Liskeard Cornwall and welcome to visit and try if local. Brand new Farringtons Show/VSD style saddle. The saddle is in new condition, only signs of use are some small dinks in the cantle, not on the cantle rim but on the back of the cantle as in pictured provided, this is where is has touched sharp edge on a saddle rack a few times. I've had this saddle 6weeks used but has been looked after very well! No scuffs no wear from the girth buckle as it has girth guards sticking all good like brand new! It has been regularly cleaned with me and measures 7inches D-D so is quite narrow! Would suit a horse with high withers that is narrow! Farrington Working Hunter Saddle. 17" seat. Medium width, (see photos with tape to make your own judgement of D-D). Black leather. Very good condition saddle. Comfortable seat. Tree is sound, flocking even, no fading of colour in the leather.  All girth straps are sound with no stretching or pulling of holes and no cracks or splits. Minimally marked where stirrup leathers have rubbed, as you would expect from a used saddle. Has girth buckle guards on both sides, just removed one for purpose of photos. There are two minuscule marks on the seat - more indentations than anything - not punctured at all and no detriment to the saddle, (see photos). Brass D-rings. No rusting to stirrup bars. Been used on a 16.2 ISH, sadly matured out of it. Willing to bring to try on within 20 miles of Junction 31 M1. Delivery by courier £20, or can collect in person, or will deliver within 20 miles.
