Farrington's Burford Event GP Saddle nearly new! Seat: 17.5 Width: Medium Black As you will see from the photos this saddle has hardly been used (less than 5 times)! These saddles suit a variety of horses and ponies, in particular those with shape in their backs as opposed to the flat backed types. For the rider it features a medium depth comfort seat with good sized knee rolls giving the rider a good level of support and assistance with balance. For the horse it has a large bearing surface ensuring maximum comfort. Suitable for a wide range of activities including hunting, hacking, dressage, jumping and showing. Sadly our beautiful gelding had to be retired due to health issues and is no longer able to be ridden. We are in Pensilva near Liskeard Cornwall and welcome to visit and try if local. I am selling my brown leather farringtons gp saddle. It is a medium with a 17.5" seat. It is in very good condition and has been checked every 6 months by a master saddler and flocked and was looked at last on 8 July. It is a very comfortable saddle with a nice seat and decent knee rolls. It has been well used but still has a lot of life left in it. The girth straps have started to come apart at the bottom on both sides as you can see in the photos but they have been like this for the two years I have owned the saddle and it does not cause any problems with doing up the girth and doesnt weaken the straps. It does have marks and scuffs on it as it has been well used. The pin on the left of the saddle has come out but I still have the pin and it just needs pushing back in. It is a lovely saddle and I am only selling it as it does not fit my horse.

Lovely gp/event style flap with decent knee rolls and a medium-depth seat.  The saddle was made by a Master Saddler and bears the Garfield Roth Saddle Company Logos.  Its a 17.5" seat.  8.5" d-d.  Medium width.  Spring tree.  Engraved 'M' and has not been altered.  Its in overall good used condition. The usual but very minimal use related marks are present to the flaps, seat, cantle, pommel and knee roll beading. The d rings are slightly tarnished. This saddle is without doubt still smart enough to use at competitions.  Very nice saddle purchased last weekend in hope of fitting my new boy, sadly it seems he'll need a MW fitting saddle. Brand new black 18" event / general purpose saddle. Manufactured by Ideal for Stirlingshire Saddlers. They design & Ideal make all there saddles. This is a narrow fit. Was bought for 16.1hh ex-racehorse and never used. It already has deeper panels to allow for the high withers. Horse no longer around so saddle not required. Only sign of wear is bit rust on one dee-ring. Little dent on girth straps as been tried on a few horses in yard. See photos. Between dee-rings 7.5/8 " Comes with Ideal cover. I paid £900.
